3 FREE Tools For Your Small Business
Being a small business owner is HARD.
We already have so much to juggle every day that there’s nothing worse than finding a really great tool that you know is going to make your life easier before realising you’ve got to pay for the privillige.
Now, I totally get it. Every business has got to make money, so this isn’t a criticism of any tools that don’t offer a free plan. However, when you are a small business owner and bootstrapping your own business, we can’t always afford to pay for everything.
So, here are 3 free tools that I now couldn’t live without as a small business owner ~
01 // Signwell
Having client agreements or contracts in place is super important if you have a service based business, and I now couldn’t operate my business with SignWell.
It allows me to upload Client Agreements and send them out to clients for them to sign electronically, as well as sending regular email reminders to all involved to sign their agreement if they haven’t already.
Once both the client and I have signed the agreement, a signed copy gets automatically sent to both parties!
02 // Calendly
You’ve probably already heard of Calendly, but if you haven’t, it’s a calendar / appointment booking and management tool that syncs with your own calendar.
It allows you to send a link to clients who can book a free slot in your diary without you having to go back and forth on email trying to find a time that’s good for you both!
Other features include adding buffer time in between meetings and integrating with your Zoom account to automatically create the meeting and add it to your diary!
The free trial also allows you to set up email reminders that go out to participants x number of days, hours, or minutes before the meeting, so as not to end up with lost time.
I have tried out many other booking management tools and I have to say, none have come close to the ease of Calendly.
03 // Notion
I was super late to the Notion party but I seriously couldn’t live without it now.
There are far too many brilliant things you can do with Notion to list, but it will change both your personal and professional life, I promise!
I use it to manage my social content calendars, write posts, track projects and I have recently created a Client Portal to keep all my client documents in one place, making both mine and my clients lives a lot easier and a lot more efficient.
There are also tonnes of free templates you can choose from that have been set up by members of the Notion community, saving you EVEN MORE time!
