MEET THE FOUNDER

Hi, I’m Soph!

I’M A DESIGNER, STRATEGIST, AND THE FOUNDER OF ALIGN & BLOOM.

Having started my career as an accountant, running a design business 12 years later was not how I saw my life panning out.

I’d always tried to repress the creative part of me until 2014 when I started my very first fashion and lifestyle blog (RIP), and I became obsessed with old-school blogger templates and learning everything I could to make my little blog look good and be something I was proud of!

Fast forward a few years and I launched my first business, and spent every hour outside of my full time job designing and updating the website, organising events, creating Instagram assets, event posters and presentations in Canva, building our socials, developing and producing our podcast, doing outreach and everything else that comes with running your own business.

Sadly - but commonly! - that first business didn’t work out, but together with my 12 years of corporate experience across commercial and product roles - I decided to take everything I’d learned and pour my heart into what I really wanted to.

Now, I get to help small business owners attract dream clients and stand out as trusted and authentic brands through luxury, timeless and elegant Squarespace website design, Canva templates, brand design, and marketing strategies.

With over 12 years of experience in commercial, product and strategy, combined with being a certified UX & UI Designer, holding a diploma in Product Management and another in Organisational Management, being a qualified AAT accountant and having side-hustled for the last 9 years, I blend timeless aesthetics with practical business insights to elevate your brand.
