Bespoke Website Design

  • I’ve used (and loved) Squarespace for all of my websites as well as projects for friends and family for 9 years.

    It allows me the flexibility to customise clients websites and make them bespoke, whilst also being super user friendly, meaning that I can provide training to my clients and they are then perfectly capable of being able to manage their own website without knowing how to code or install fancy plugins.

  • You can choose to pay for your Squarespace subscription via either monthly or annual instalments.

    If you choose to work with me, you’ll get 20% off your first annual plan, alongside an extended 6-month free trial instead of the standard 14 days!

  • You’ll need to pay for your Squarespace subscription (as above) as well as for your custom domain if required. Websites like GoDaddy and Namecheap offer relatively cheap domains!

    Other than that, unless you require any extra pages or choose to pay for third party functionality (such as payment processing or premium email newsletters), there are no other costs.

  • This depends on the complexity of the website and design required.

    Approximate timelines range from 2-3 weeks for a 1-page website to up to 8 weeks for a bigger, more complex design (such as an e-commerce site).

    Often, however, I can get your site done faster than this and will always keep you updated on progress.

  • If you have a tight deadline, I offer an expedited service for an additional fee. This service is subject to availability, so please reach out early if you have a specific launch date in mind.

  • In order to get ready for your project and ensure the process is as efficient and seamless as possible, I ask that you come ready with your website copy and images.

    You will also need to have a domain and purchase your Squarespace subscription, however I will walk you through all of these steps when the time comes.

  • Yes! If you have an existing website that needs a refresh, we can work together to create a new, modern look and feel that better represents your brand and improves user experience.

  • Each website project includes 3-5 rounds of revisions (depending on the package) to ensure you’re thrilled with the end result. Additional revisions can be requested, though extra fees may apply.

  • Yes! I can incorporate an e-commerce shop into your website if you’re looking to sell products or services. We’ll discuss your shop needs in the planning phase to ensure a seamless and functional shopping experience.

  • My process typically involves -

    1. Free Clarity Call where we get to know each other and establish the right package for you.

    2. Signing of your Client Agreement and deposit payment.

    3. Strategy call where we dig deep into your business, goals, vision and website strategy.

    4. Designing! I’ll present back a couple of different mock-ups for you to provide your feedback.

    5. Revisions: once I have your feedback, I’ll go away and make any tweaks to perfect your site.

    6. Build! I’ll build your website in Squarespace and connect your domain for you if required.

    7. Launch!

  • Yes! Extra pages will be charged from £77 per page, depending on the scope and complexity of the extra pages.

  • I would love to help you write the copy for your website. After all, it’s one of the most important things!

    Copywriting for your website will come with a £750 fee added to your project.

  • This isn’t a problem! If your website is already in Squarespace, a redesign project works in exactly the same way as a design project.

    One of my values is transparency, and so if I think there will be much less work for your redesign, I will quote you a reduced price for your project!

    If your website is hosted on another platform, I will work with you to transfer all of your content over to Squarespace before we begin!

  • Yes! Absolutely.

    I kindly ask that you pay a deposit on any project we undertake together, but after that, I’m super flexible and happy to split the remainder over monthly instalments.

  • Of course! All of my bespoke website design packages come with my Branding Essentials included. This means you get a shiny new logo included in the price!

  • All of my bespoke website packages come with 1:1 Squarespace training, so that you are confident in going forward and making any edits or updates that you need to in the future.

    I also provide 60 days email technical support post-launch, so that if you do have any questions, I’m only an email away!

  • I offer post-launch support for a set period to address any initial adjustments or questions. For continued support beyond this, I offer retainer packages or one-off update services to ensure your website remains up-to-date and aligned with your business goals.

  • While I specialise in Squarespace, I have experience with other platforms like Wix. However, my expertise and resources are best suited to Squarespace for delivering high-quality results efficiently.

  • Can you help me with presentations as well?

    Absolutely! I specialise in designing professional, branded presentations that captivate and inform. Whether you need a one-time presentation or monthly updates, we can handle it.

    Please note, I do not write your presentations for you, and you will need all copy and images before I can start designing.

  • Do you offer a monthly retainer?

    Yes! The retainer model offers a set number of content pieces each month for a flat fee, ensuring that you always have fresh, high-quality visuals when you need them.

  • Do you write the copy and provide the images?

    No, this would be your responsibility to provide these to me before I can start designing.

    I don’t know your business or your needs like you do, and so I ask you to provide these to me (and then I will show you how to edit if you need!).

  • What file formats do you provide?

    I typically deliver files in PNG or JPEG format for social media graphics and PDF for presentations and documents. If you need other formats, let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

  • How do I get started with this service?

    Starting is simple! Just reach out to discuss your content needs, and we’ll set up a monthly retainer or ad-hoc agreement that fits your goals and budget. Once everything is agreed upon, we’ll get started with an initial content strategy session to plan your assets for the upcoming month.

Can you make the changes for me after the audit?

What do I need to provide for the audit?

What if my website is on a platform other than Squarespace?

While I specialise in Squarespace, I can audit websites on most popular platforms, including WordPress and Wix. However, my implementation support may vary depending on the platform, so feel free to reach out to discuss your specific setup.
